God's Purpose: Peace and Life
John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 10:10 "I have come that they may have life and life more abundantly."
Ephesians 3:30 - Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or image (perceive, reason, understand) according to His power that is at work within us.
Power - Dynamis - to be able, ability, capable; a Spirit of strength
"work within us" - Energeo:
Operative, active, to be at work, effect; from energes - active, powerful, effective
From es - ending indicates a quality, attribute, or property
Energes was used in biblical Greek to describe freshly plowed land ready for cultivation.
It represents what is at work, active, in operation. The Word of God contains a potency which when unleashed successfully accomplishes its purpose.
Our authority lies in our ability to unleash "energeo" within us to overcome and defeat the enemy who strategizes to keep our heads down. If we insist on walking in shame, offense, woundedness, rejection and the like we consistently give the enemy a "headstart" and we can never surpass his strategies. Fear, anxiety and stress takes its toll on our cellular system and when that is added to previous trauma's or wounding, we dig ourselves into a deeper stronghold.
Our memory system is sometimes triggered by past emotional memories that are "encoded" and locked or frozen in our cells and cannot be unleashed until we have an understanding of who we are and how powerful we are upon this earth.
We must get past the "I" syndrome in the natural state of man and recognize that Holy Spirit resides within us therefore "I" am a spirit therefore I should be communicating on a spiritual level with the Father. When the communication signals are aligned with heaven's signals then I become that "Dynamis," a Spirit of Strength!
